#1Teacher Tools - Remind

 I signed up for Remind. This app lets teachers text students and parents without using a phone or phone numbers. You can send texts with email addresses. I could use this for the online class I supervise. I contact parents once a week with an update on their child's progress.  I like that you can send batch reminders. I am not so sure I can send individual reminders. That could be a problem, as the information I send is confidential.

I am really not comfortable sending texts. I might be okay with sending them to parents, but I do not feel comfortable sending them to students.  I do realize that teens use texts much more than email, but that does not mean I need to.
